Nadolig Llawen - Merry Christmas!
Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas everybody.
This year I thought I will try and be more eco-friendly in one of my new year resolutions - so I am sending Christmas greetings via the internet. I know it seems rather impersonal but I still write and send cards + presents when I feel .... slightly ever so inspired hehehe! Perhaps its another excuse for my laziness and procrastinations but this way surely helps to save some paper!
Greetings to Singapore from Wales!
Thanks mum and dad for the lovely picture of you both on Christmas eve. Hope you're having a lovely time with Ah ma! Here are some pictures specially for Ah Ma - check out his Christmas Snowman boots from his daddy and mummy!!!
Dear friends and family, I hope you are all having a wonderful time, wherever you are. Let's pray for more love, more peace and less wars.
Nadolig Ilawen and God bless!

Thank you post
Thank you to my lovely cousins specially from Singapore; Aunty Jenny, Aunty Audrey and Uncle Wilson, who had so kindly sent Morgan a 'surprise' Christmas present. David's Christmas pressie which Morgan's mummy sent is not half as exciting but hope that David you'll like it though!
The morning before his 'surprise' pressie arrived from Singapore ....
then the pressie arrived!
He's having lots of fun with the flashing colours and lights. The sounds are really amazing - totally loved it! Thanks again chaps! ;)
Girls' Night Out
Gorgeous, cheeky and chic mums all dressed up before the Christmas weekend. We were getting all geared up to paint the town red! So first its drinks at the bar, a fancy meal at an Italian restaurant, then followed by some cheesy disco dancing at the RSVP. While we mums are letting our hair down, the men were home baby-sitting. Husbands can make themselves useful sometimes!
The evening was great for the girls! We all had our fair share of gin&tonics. No one felt sick or behaved badly and no one got home before midnight! Eventually we ditched the cheesy disco at RSVP for the Irish pub Father Flanagan's where the live band was dishing out some old-school indie-rock numbers, I like! This is for us all mummys - we rock!

Christmas party post II
Another backdated posting on an earlier Christmas party at Jule's place on the 4 Dec 2006. Got to see some yummy baby-friends and a good natter with the mumsies! Those were the days when we first got to know each other through yoga and can't believe how our bellies were this huge! How time flies .....
From left to right - we've got Jack(9 mths), Olwyn(2 days older than Morgan), Morgan (8 mths), Rebecca(7 1/2mths) and Alex(7 mths).
It's really hard trying to keep the kiddy-winks still while getting them to smile! It went alittle chaotic with all the mums calling out their names at the same time and them looking around with that 'what's going on?' look as the digital cameras go 'click click flash' ... the state of digital art!

I can't be bothered ....
This year we will be spending Christmas with tadcu and mamgu in Wales so we didn't bother buying a Christmas tree or putting up any decorations. So boring right?
As it is Morgan's first Christmas, we decided to be more inventive or creative. On our weekend walk with daddy, besides getting exercise and a good amount of fresh air, we also found bits of pine branches that had fallen from the trees which I collected and brought home. And I decided I could put it up by the front door like this!
The tiny plastic holly decoration was a 99p bargain from the local supermarket. As for Christmas cards, we say yes to recycling and donating to charity instead. However we'll reserve sending christmas cards to friends and family whom we don't get to see in person or are not e-connected or wired to the Internet.
Anyway this is what might happen to your christmas card if you have an 8-month old crawling about and picking up everything to put in his mouth all of the time!
Christmas party post I
Thank you to Paula who hosted the Christmas party at hers on Sunday, 10 Dec 2006. It was excellent - wonderful hosts, lovely food (especially Paula's chocolate trifle); minced pies and mulled wine, music and company. We had plenty of fun catching up though I wasn't too sure if the babies actually enjoyed dressing-up in muslins and tea-towels round their heads!
Here's Joseph and Caitlin casting as 'Joseph' and 'Mary'.
There's Angel Henry, King Elliot, Wise men Jack and Owen, and Morgan's the wise man of the East! I reckon that Jacob would be Baby Jesus if he had not been poorly.
Thank-you to Aunty Susan for the smart kung-fu suit. The kung-fu hat (from grandma in Singapore) somehow became a popular item passed around his friends. Morgan in action - steadying himself by the table. Morgan and Joseph performing live, a duet of 'The Entertainer'!
Encore chaps, we'll do it again!

Party week!
After the Kung-fu Master's discovered that he could crawl about on his own, it seems like there's no stopping him. Scroll down to watch 'Morgan's first major move' for the first time ...
It's yet another hectic week. In between doing the christmas shopping and all the other mundane household chores that I have yet to complete, we managed to squeeze time for a rather early christmas party for the under 1s. Its a lousy excuse to gorge on yule-logs and mince-pies really!
These are the friends we spent with. More pictures later ...
Tomorrow is another christmas party with this bigger group of tots.
We will all have to bring one food, drink and come all dressed up in nativity characters, complete with a surprise 'secret santa' present for the kids.
I told you we are going to be busy ...
