Travel tales

Hey ... this one just makes me burst out laughing! And you would too if you heard my story.

We found out recently that Morgan is really bad in the car. He gets car-sick when he goes somewhere far ... like Aberystwyth! This would not likely to happen if he were to be asleep throughout the journey. Still the fact remains that Morgan is travel-sick and would probably, for most of his life, have to bear with plastic bags on hand and an extra change of clothes whenever he gets on board a long journey. Poor thing, mummy certainly remembered what she was like when she was growing up! I have tried him on homeopathic wristbands that curb throwing up and timing his sleep cycles (but its harder when he's older) and besides I have consulted the doctor here who told me that I just have to bear with him till he gets old enough to take a travel pill. Any other ideas for remedying this?

Anyway the morale of the story is - Morgan decided that he's going to sleep in the car as soon as he got on. He had been horrible in the car the day before - puke all over the seat, onto his clothes and shoes, twice! But this time, he was determined not to throw up ... he closed his eyes most deliberately the minute we got into the car. And as we drove along, I commented to Lewis on how he's already falling asleep just as we were heading for lunch. And funnily enough, when his daddy asked him 'ydy 'ti esiau cysgu nawr?' (as in, 'are you wanting to sleep now?') .. there was supposed to be no obvious response but a funny little grin crept up his face .... quietly. It was the funniest moment as we try and stifle our laughing. Still closing his eyes, his daddy asked him the same question again. And again the same little grin came up each time and stayed on. At the same time he was trying hard not to laugh once nor open his eyes. This carried on until we reached our lunch destination. I just wonder - he's the cutest boy I can ever have ... ain't I lucky?
Comments:
What a cuty Morgan! I saw his smile in the picture.

Will talk to you when you are online.
